Nebraska LT. Governor Mike Foley Endorses Charles W. Herbster
Omaha, NE – Lieutenant Governor Mike Foley announced his endorsement of Charles W. Herbster to be the next Governor of Nebraska. The Lieutenant Governor made these remarks during a press conference at the Nebraska State Capital on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.
Foley was elected to the position of Lieutenant Governor in 2014 after being hand-picked by Governor Pete Ricketts to be his running mate. Before that, Foley served two terms as the Nebraska Auditor of Public Accounts from 2007 to 2015 and was an elected member of the Unicameral from 2000-2007.
Throughout his career, Lieutenant Governor Foley has been a strong advocate for cutting wasteful spending, uncovering waste and fraud, and always standing firm in his conservative values.
“When deciding who to support to be the next Governor of Nebraska, the choice was clear that Charles W. Herbster is the person for the job,” said Foley.
Foley continued to remark that, “Charles is a man of faith and conviction. He is a lifelong Nebraskan with family ties going back five generations. Charles is a job creator who has invested in this state. He is rooted in our conservative values and will rely on those values when leading our great state.”
